2027 Chamber Citizen of the Year Award

The Citizen of the Year award highlights an individual(s) who possess a profound sense of civic pride, motivating them to selflessly dedicate their time for the benefit of others in the community.

Anyone, Chamber member or non-member, may be recognized as the Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year recipient. 

Citizen of the Year Criteria

  • This award is given to an individual of Le Mars who should be recognized for his/her service in the community.
  • This person shows exceptional dedication to the Chamber of Commerce or the City of Le Mars and surrounding area.
  • They show interest and commitment to improving the quality of life for all citizens.
  • Consistent volunteerism with the Chamber and other community events. 
  • Strives to enhance the community by showing passion for the people and life of Le Mars.
